202 Followers! And a giveaway!

A Few Threads Loose has 202 Followers! When did that happen?! Was it while I was being bad and not blogging very often? You guys are just too great, really. So to celebrate fooling 202 people into thinking I can sew and stuff, how about a giveaway? And not a pdf either, some real, honest to goodness, "I would hang on to this stuff myself if I wasn't so flooded with sewing loot that I couldn't find my sewing machine" goodies.

So here's the prize:


 Two very cool sewing patterns, and, wait for it, A $35 GIFT CARD TO MY ETSY SHOP. Yup, are we celebrating yet? I would be toasting myself with a glass of fine cask-strength scotch right not if I didn't have to drive somewhere in an hour.


So yes, if you want to win Simplicity 4492, Simplicity 1378 and $35 worth of goodies from Mrs. Depew Vintage, you just need to do the following:

1. Become a follower of A Few Threads Loose... and leave a comment saying you did. If you already follow, you can leave a comment about that too. The more, the merrier!

2. For another entry, you can "like" A Few threads Loose on Facebook... and leave me a comment saying you did.

3. You can also mention A Few Threads Loose or this giveaway on your blog for another entry.

4. And lastly, for an extra entry, I would love to know what you think I should sew next, and blog about? Should I sew a dress, more lingerie, pillows, slippers, a skirt? What would you like to see next?

    You ought to sew a new dress next, something with an adorable nipped waist so I can live vicariously through you. I won't be seeing my waist again until February, much less sewing anything for it. lol

    @Snarktastical You are hilarious! My waist isn't what it was a few months ago either... I'm hoping more crunches and slim fast will lead to a tiny waist some day... except I really love food. Sigh... :)

    I would love to see you do a blouse, I know it wasn't on your list, but I have been seeing lots of fall/winter skirts, but I haven't seen very many lovely tops to go with them.

    As for what you should make, I'd like to see more of your bra patterns made up - you have really nice patterns on etsy but I'm always a bit wary of it they look - and fit - as pretty as the pattern does! Are they quick and easy projects?

    I went to buy fabric for the teddy this week (I ended up too poorly to go when I intended) only to find they had sold out of the gorgeous fabric I wanted - at £2.20pm hardly surprising but - I can't begin to tell you how down-hearted I felt when I left that shop. Now thinking of trying it in lawn or something akin to that...
