Jackpot!

The mail came yesterday and even though I'm working a ton and have almost no time to sew until the weekend, I'm excited! Take a look at my score:

You know you've somehow become too busy when you find yourself trying to chose between blogging and showering because you don't have the time to do both. Well, I just had to get up earlier to fit both in.
Who needs sleep anyways? That's why there's coffee. You can sleep when you're dead.
Here are my favorites.

Butterick 5978 from 1921

This slip pattern is identical to the vintage bias cut silk slip that I wore under my wedding dress.

I'm really loving the tucks at the waist of this 1950's slip and really want to try it out in a two-tone combination.

And of course, everyone needs a tie at the waist blouse that makes them look like they just stepped out of a magazine.

And now, for the pièce de résistance:

I was really excited to get this vintage Australian sewing magazine in the mail and then I realized, this wasn't the one I bought! So I emailed the seller and apparently the two magazines got switched. Now I can't decide if I should arrange the swap the seller (who was lovely by the way) suggested, or keep the one I have, which is also to die for:
