But they are nowhere NEAR as cute as these!! I wear my Madeline mini-bloomers (the free Colette pattern) almost every day - I've made three sets to wear around the house and to bed :)Meg the Grandhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05505371880343451606noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-88001083355758616.post-67448831796387803922012-11-29T02:47:52.417+01:002012-11-29T02:47:52.417+01:00I agree: the yolk on these bloomers all of a sudde...I agree: the yolk on these bloomers all of a sudden makes them so much more appealing; but what do they use for a closure? Are the yolked-bloomers elastic in back, too?Brittanyhttp://www.nothingnewtreasures.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-88001083355758616.post-54256027016748357902012-11-27T01:06:44.982+01:002012-11-27T01:06:44.982+01:00I think they pretty much only work on someone with...I think they pretty much only work on someone with the same body shape as the women in the illustration - so something I would never be able to pull off. But, you still have a lovely bra pattern. You could also easily shorten view 2 a bit and not put the elastic in and you would have a beautiful pair of tap panties. That is if you intend to sew these up.

In any case the cover illustrations are always gorgeous with this series, and it was fun to see another addition to your collection :)Annabellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11544332573834094941noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-88001083355758616.post-10193115846897506512012-11-21T00:27:13.218+01:002012-11-21T00:27:13.218+01:00Not sure about the bloomers, but that yoke pattern...Not sure about the bloomers, but that yoke pattern would make for some cute tap pants! I mostly wear jeans to work, and when I try to wear a skirt or dress, my legs get uncomfortable throughout a long day of sitting at a desk. So that's why I stick to jeans, but I've often thought of creating some sort of comfy shorts to wear under skirts/dresses. Isn't that basically what bloomers are for? That and perhaps modesty? Perhaps what I need is bloomers!! Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-88001083355758616.post-6358033306378821882012-11-20T19:49:57.170+01:002012-11-20T19:49:57.170+01:00Yay! I'm glad to see it went to a good home! :)
You should totally make this, it's really cute.
